I love these little morsels, not only are they delicious with and have the added health benefits of Turmeric, they are also super quick to make and they don’t require a food processor.

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 ½ cups of almond meal
- 1 ½ cups desiccated coconut
- ½ cup of coconut oil
- ½ cup maple syrup or rice syrup
- 2 teaspoons of turmeric
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of ground ginger
- Pinch of chilli powder
(Alternatively, instead of the above spices you can use 21/2 teaspoons of the delicious Gold Grind Turmeric Chai blend) - Optional Extra: ½ cup of cacao nibs
PROCEDURE:
- Combine almond meal, coconut, spice mix (or Golden Grind if you are using it) into a bowl.
- Melt coconut oil over low heat and add maple syrup
- Add liquids to the dry ingredients and mix well
- Roll balls into the desired size and refrigerate for 30 minutes
- Store in the fridge or freezer
