This is a great smoothie to start the day with, it’s high in fibre so keeps you feeling full longer – plus it’s really yummy. Also a great smoothie for anyone who is pregnant, nursing or trying to reduce cholesterol (due to the calcium, vitamin C and healthy fats).
Almonds are a wonderful source of calcium, vitamin E (acting as an antioxidant) and have the good fats that reduce cholesterol.
Strawberries contain vitamin C (also an antioxidant and great for immunity), folate (great for preggie people) and studies have strawberries can also reduce cholesterol.
