Here’s a smoothie recipe for male fertility – I like to call it Nourishing Hubby.
I’ve noticed a lot of women focus on their diet and nutrition prior to conceiving, however, men need to focus on preparing their body too!
Ladies – this is also a great smoothie for glowing skin – so have a glass as well.
INGREDIENTS:
- ¾ C of pumpkin seeds (full of zinc needed for male fertility and sperm count, also high in Vitamin E needed for producing sperm and key sex hormones)
- 2 bananas
- ½ Avocado
- 3 -4 stems of Kale (cavolo nero) or silverbeet
- 2 Kiwifruit (full of vitamin C – helps to stop sperm clumping and improves sperm quality)
- 2-3 dates
- Handful of Almonds or Brazil nuts (good source of L-Arginine for sperm production)
- ½ – ¾ C of rice milk or alternative
PROCEDURE:
Blend all ingredients till completely smooth – this make take a few minutes.
