This past Monday was an unproductive hot mess.
I sat in front of my computer, one minute frozen like a rabbit in headlights, the next bouncing between tasks like an over-caffeinated meerkat (and I don’t even drink caffeine :)).
My mind was jumping from project to project like popcorn, and I simply couldn't land my focus on ANY. SINGLE. THING.
I even created this meme as a distraction (ironic, right?)
Sound familiar? Those days when you're simultaneously doing everything and nothing?
In retrospect, I know EXACTLY why Monday imploded for me.
I didn't follow my own advice.
I skipped the SLIP method I teach all my Hatchery members – the exact framework that prevents those chaotic, "busy but accomplishing nothing" days.
As Benjamin Franklin wisely noted, "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail." (And boy, did I prove him right this week!)
Want to avoid my Monday mistake?
In today's podcast episode, I break down the complete SLIP method:
✨ Space - Create a sacred moment before diving into work
✨ Letting Go - Release what's blocking your focus and flow
✨ Intention - Set powerful guideposts for your week
✨ Planning - A simple system that eliminates overwhelm
This framework has transformed Mondays for me and many of my members – and it will work for you too (when you actually USE it... unlike me this week 🙈).
