Delicious Cheats Chai - Dairy Free

So this cheats chai will have even the best chai connoisseurs fooled. I always get asked for this recipe and am slightly embarrassed to say that the base is made from the Byron lose leaf chai mix (absolutely now added nasties)…..I just amp it up a little.

Chai for 4 – 6

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 teaspoons of Byron Chai Mix
  • 2 teaspoons of Cinnamon
  • 1 large thumb of finely grated fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons of ground ginger
  • 2 cups of coconut milk
  • 2 cups of almond milk
  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 tablespoons of honey (adjust to your desired taste)

PROCEDURE:

  1. Add all ingredients into large pot and stir until combined.
  2. Gentle simmer over low heat
  3. Serve hot.
